The Artistic Events of Talca University

in Curicó

The Duet performed two concerts on Wednesday 19th July, 2006 at the Centro de Extensión Cultural Curicó, of the Talca University .

The first one was for students of the Luis Cruz Martínez and Fernando Lazcano schools, where the attending audience could ask questions on the performed works, the different periods of the history of music which were dealt with, or clarify doubts regarding the study and performance of the piano and the guitar.

In the concert for general public at 19:30 P.M., where the concert hall was full (merit attributed to the good organization of these events) one could observe the attendance of many young people and children, which as performers and pedagogues we consider very important and stimulating.

The great cultural work that the University of Talca is making in Curicó, through this Center of Cultural Extension is worth mentioning. After approximately six years of activity, according to what Moirana (in charge of the organization of cultural events) told us, they already count on a numerous and important captive audience, that with great enthusiasm attends concerts, cinema, plays, painting exhibitions, and others, that are programmed every month.

ANTONIO VIVALDI: Concierto en Re.
JOAQUIN RODRIGO: Fandango - Pasacalle - Fandango de Ventorrillo.
ASTOR PIAZZOLLA: Tango - Milonga - Tango.
