Season 2005

Summarizing the Duet activities durind 2005, we can mention as important facts of this musical task the concert performed for "Domingo de Conciertos" (Sunday's Concerts) at the University of Chile Radio Station program , broadcast on Sunday 8th May, 2005 at 12:00 A.M.

This radio program, has the characteristic of being a live concert with audience on the recording hall.
During May, our Duet made a recording for the TV program "Otra Cosa es con Guitarra" (Better with a guitar). The program is transmitted by UCV Television of the Catholic Universit of Valparaiso.

This program, which has already been for several years on air, began its new season in December 2005 and it will stay on air until February 2006.

The works performed at the "Domingo de Conciertos" program, as at the "Otra cosa es con Guitarra" program, were the following:

VICENTE BIANCHI: Tres Tonadas Chilenas
MANUEL MARIA PONCE: Sonata
MARIO CASTELNUOVO-TEDESCO: Fantasía Op.145
ASTOR PIAZZOLLA: Tango - Milonga - Tango

One of the concerts performed by this Duet during the 2005 season, had a special meaning for them, because it was organized with great effort, love, dedication, deference towards the performers, and at the same time produced with limited economic resources.
We are talking about the concerts season organized year after year, by the "Polyphonic Choir Santa Cecilia" of Temuco, directed by the pianist: Miss Lucia Hernández.
The program performed by the Duet on Tuesday 26th July, 2005 at 19:00 P.M. at the Choir's House, included the following works:
